Who we are
Iron Built Ready-Mix Concrete set up its first plant at Gabtoli in April 2010. Today it is recognised as one of the largest manufacturers of ready-mix concrete in Bangladesh, with plants at Gabtoli, Tongi, Vatara and Gazipur.
Every mixing plant runs a modern PLC-based, computer-controlled program, and our engineers and concrete technologists help customers get the mix design right, whether it's ours or one they provide.
What we make
Cement, sand, crushed stone and water mixed with admixture at the plant, then delivered fresh and ready to use by transit mixer truck, to our mix design or yours.
Ordinary Portland cement from high-quality clinker ground with high-purity gypsum. Reaches above 3000 psi within 3 days.
Best for: bridges, prestressed and precast elements
CEM-II/A-M 42.5 NPortland composite cement of clinker, fly ash, slag and limestone. It keeps gaining strength for longer, with higher density and lower permeability.
Best for: RCC, high-rise, bridges, plaster & masonry
CEM-III/A 32.5 NSlag cement that is less permeable and resists sulfate, acid and alkali-silica reaction, with higher ultimate strength.
Best for: marine, agricultural and chemically aggressive sites
ProtectionSpecialised cement protection against dampness and water ingress.
Best for: keeping structures safe from damp
Smart concrete solutions
Our batching plants are fully automated. Every material is weighed by automated hoppers and mixed under PLC control, so each load matches the ratio you specified.
Coarse aggregates (20 mm and 12 mm down), Sylhet sand, water, admixture and cement from the silo.
Conveyor belts feed automated weighing hoppers for an exact mix ratio.
Computer-controlled batching follows the approved mix design.
Materials are combined in the plant mixer into fresh concrete.
The batch is discharged into a transit mixer truck for delivery.
A fresh concrete sample is taken for laboratory testing at the plant.

Quality you can check
Our cement has been tested by BUET month after month, with the reports and our ISO certificates published for anyone to read.
Each plant has a fully equipped laboratory, and fresh concrete samples are tested before delivery.
Quality assurance covers order processing, materials and mix design through production, delivery and control of concrete.
Cement production is checked every hour by XRF chemical analysis, alongside residue testing by sieve analysis.
Certified quality and environmental management systems, backed by ACI-standard mix design.

Mega projects
Iron Built concrete and cement have powered some of Bangladesh's most iconic projects, from the country's longest bridge to international airports and elevated expressways.
Opened on June 25, 2022, the bridge connects 21 districts. Iron Built is proud to have been part of this mega project.
